Why is the message 'REC1 not included in your account' shown in the payment process?

Issue

The following message REC1 not included in your account appears when reaching the payment page where you normally enter your card details.

This means that you have activated the Alias Manager setting in the payment methods in your shop backend but the required option for this setting enabled in your account with your Payment Service Provider.

With the Alias Manager, your customers can securely save their credit cards with your Payment Service Provider for later purchases.

Resolution

If you wish to use the Alias Manager feature, please contact your Payment Service Provider to activate the required option in your account.

If you do not wish to use the Alias Manager, you should disable the Alias Manager setting in the payment method in your shop backend.
